They won't work as expected on Apple Silicon Macs until Logitech updates their software to support Apple Silicon Macs natively. Despite the fact that these new chips were announced mid 2020, Logitech is doing nothing to support them. Logitech Options hasn't been updated to support Apple Silicon Macs. You should give up and return this mouse, if you still can do it, and save yourself the stress of having an expensive product that does not work as expected.
